Markets & News aims to make financial reporting useful by separating verified facts, reported information, analysis and model-portfolio decisions.
Primary sources first
Company filings and releases, regulator and central-bank publications, government economic data and other original records are preferred wherever available. APIs, feeds, search results, transcripts and competitor coverage are leads and context rather than substitutes for verification.
Attribution and uncertainty
Material third-party facts are attributed. Preliminary, estimated, unaudited or reported figures are labeled accordingly. When a claim cannot be independently confirmed, the uncertainty should be visible rather than implied away.
Artificial intelligence workflows
Automated systems may assist with source discovery, extraction, comparison, analysis, drafting and quality checks. They do not eliminate editorial review. Important facts, dates, numbers, quotations and source relationships are checked before publication.
MN Simulated Portfolio
The MN Simulated Portfolio is hypothetical and does not represent real-money trading. Public portfolio pages show the published recommendation, positions, risk levels, current marks and running total.
Corrections
Material factual corrections are made transparently. Published simulated-portfolio history is preserved rather than silently rewritten.
Source hierarchy
Competitor reporting, television transcripts, newsletters and interviews are newsroom discovery inputs. Markets & News should trace factual claims to the underlying filing, official release, regulator, dataset, company statement or other primary source wherever possible.
When a named guest makes a material analytical statement, Markets & News may attribute the statement directly to that person after independently verifying the speaker’s role or title. Internal transcript handling is not presented as a public source note.
All outbound third-party links published by Markets & News use rel="nofollow".
